Where is your data center located?

All our services are hosted in a data center in Melbourne, Australia.

Do I need a public IP and how much does it cost?

If you require SSL you will need a public IP address. This is $4.30 per month and is included in our fixed hosting packages. The pricing is also included in the calculator when creating your custom environment in the Cloudlets dashboard.

Can I host multiple domains in one environment?

You can host multiple domains in one environment, however, this would require you to configure your selected application server to serve the correct content, see: https://docs.jelastic.com/multiple-domains-php

What are your support hours?

Our support services are available 24/7, for a full breakdown please see the 'Emergency Support' section on the contact page at: https://cloudlets.com.au/contact.html

Where are your support staff located?

Our support staff are 100% Australian based. They are trained server administrators (not level 1 support technicians).

Do you provide a CDN?

We can provide full integration with the HTTP/3 CDN edgeport.com. This includes locations in Australia, and is charged at $0.08 USD/GB (approximately $0.115 AUD/GB).

Is your pricing in AUD?

All pricing is in AUD unless otherwise quoted - for example where we are passing on a cost from a supplier such as the Edgeport CDN.

What is your backup policy?

Backups are taken each night to separate infrastructure and retained for a minimum of 14 days.

How do I restore a backup?

Backup restorations are free of charge and are done by our friendly support team on request.

What security is provided for the environment?

We provide many layers of security. We scrub all international traffic at a DDOS scrubbing center in South East Melbourne. We have an edge firewall for added DDOS protection. We then have added IDS/IPS firewalls to block common exploit requests. Finally the Jelastic platform provides it's own firewall management in the dashboard to provide a complete network protection solution. You can also map local ports to different endpoint ports.
